Questions about the club

Where do you ship?

We ship to addresses in the United States only for now, and shipping is always free.

When does my box ship?

Each box ships when your monthly payment goes through, and it usually arrives in about a week. Your first box ships right after you sign up.

Can I skip, pause or cancel?

Yes, anytime, by yourself. Log in to your member account to skip a month, pause for a while or cancel. There are no fees and no phone calls. Changes apply to your next payment.

Is it the same coffee every month?

No. You get a new pick each month as we work through the passport. Explorer members get two different coffees every month.

How do gift subscriptions work?

Gifts are prepaid for 3, 6 or 12 months ($84, $159 or $299). The recipient gets one 12 oz bag a month with free US shipping, and the gift simply ends when the months are used up. Nothing renews.

Whole bean or ground?

Your choice. Whole bean stays fresh longest if you have a grinder; ground is ready for drip machines, pour-over and French press. You can switch in your account between boxes.

Can I get decaf?

Yes. Tick "Decaf every month" before checkout and every bag will be our water-process decaf from Sumatra, which is mellow and smooth. You can switch back anytime.

What's in the box?

A 12 oz (340 g) bag of freshly roasted coffee (two bags on Explorer) in a box printed with a map of where it grows, the origin story, tasting notes, a brew recipe and a QR code to the full origin guide and our brew timer.

How does the passport work?

Every bag has a passport number. Log it in your online passport to collect that country's stamp, rate it from 1 to 5 and write notes. Ratings and notes are private: only you can see them.

Where do I log in?

Members log in at club.thebrewplan.com/login to manage their subscription and their passport.
