The story

Almendra means almond, and that's the first thing you'll notice. Brazilian beans, dried in the sun on open patios, give a round, nutty sweetness. Coffee from the mountains of southern Mexico, often grown under shade trees by small family farms, adds a maple-like depth and a light citrus lift. It's a cozy, crowd-pleasing cup that loves milk.

Did you know?

Much of Mexico's coffee is grown in the shade of taller trees, which helps protect birds and soil.
