The story
Colombia's coffee grows on steep Andean slopes where farms are small and picking is done by hand, cherry by cherry, over long harvests. In the southern departments of Huila and Cauca, cool nights and high altitude slow the fruit down, which packs the bean with sugar. That's the cherry and plum you taste first, with a chocolate finish that makes it an easy every-morning cup.
Colombia has two harvests a year in many regions, so fresh crop arrives more often than almost anywhere else.
